does anyone have a link to an edited mtkflash for ich7? i have tryed editing it myself but in system information mine only has one i/o port line

thats an ide controller, try installing your sata chipset's driver.

Now that I have my hex value (0111 2216 0034 002c), where do I inject it into mtkflash using Hex Workshop? Every tutorial I have found is no help to me as they only edit values for chipsets listed that they own (mine's a Initio inic1620 S-ATA Adapter).  uhh.gif

OK. This is the first time i try to manual edit mtkflash. Ive flashed a lot of drives but was using VIA Chipset. The thing is, can i edit it since my chipset is INTEL now?I mean, if i edit, will it work?

My info was under IDE as well.  Mine worked fine contrary to someone telling me it wouldn't.  Not sure how they came to that conclusions, but whatever.  Those numbers/letters are correct.  Mine worked without changing the second set of numbers/letters.  Mtkflash should find the I/O port part by itself.
