Wow you can get it to read, there was some Speculation going around that if you screwed up a flash the drive wouldn't detect,
I would try mounting your C: drive(if you have xp you need NTFSDOS.EXE "Google" it) if you haven't already,
Have you tried different commands (like /SATA instead of /M)?,
How about hotswaping your 360 hdd with the DVD during boot or hooking up a DVD drive to the SATA line and hot swapping that (IDE to SATA would work "Google" or local store),
I don't this this would work because the 360 doesn't boot to dash but it doesn't hurt to try, boot in to DOS with no devices hooked up (other then IDE DVD drive hooked up to IDE Chain),
Once in dos Boot the 360 (with the DVD ROM drive attached) wait a minute then disconnect the DVD ROM drive from the 360 and plug it in to the SATA port on your computer and run MTKFlash to Flash the drive
this is all i can think of at the moment if these don't work you might have to Desolder the chip and put it in an external flasher
