Yeh you need to key your hacked firmware before you flash it..... and dont use the foros patcher to do it because it will do it wrong. you must use the hex edit way!

Please Put Disc Into An Xbox 360 To Play

I Just did my first backup and my xbox 360 can read originals but it cannot read my backup copy... what have i done wrong? any ideas? it detects the backup as "Play DVD" and when i play it it plays that little vid that then says "Please put disc into an XBOX 360 to play"

I used isobuster to extract my raw iso, then used dvdinfopro to extract the ss.bin form my original disc, then used ss merger to merge my raw iso and my ss.bin to get my game.dvd. then i used clone cd to burn the game.dvd.  (used Pioneer DVR-110D and has been flashed to v1.22 with bitsetting support)

Hex edit your game.iso and make sure it isn't comprised of tons of 0's. If it is, you only ripped the 6 MB DVD portion instead of the actual game data, which is only ripable after inputting the unlock code.
