Hey guys when i boot into DOS Prompt then i insert my other floppy with mtkflash on it and my firmware on it, i run the command a:\mtkflash w /m xtreme_proper.bin at first i was getting hangs after it displayed my Master/Slave: a0 i had to press escape to get out of that. but now it keeps saying Drive not Detected when i run the command to flash. and sometimes the first time i power the xbox and run the command in dos it will give the error "ERR: Fail to open input file!" after that everytime i run the command it says drive not recognised.

i have set my sata to ide and disabled the other sata channel and even tried pulling out my hdd and running just the xbox drive and my floppy. Thing is that i got it to work before when i was flashing the x0800.bin file

Any ideas that i can try?

yeh it has recognised it before, but most time it will not show up in the bios only rarely if i power it on differently or reset my pc... not to sure. i have a backup already. i need to flash the firmware so i can play backups now.

Cut the PC off. Then cut the 360 on. Wait about a minute or so. Then cut PC back on. Should see it then.

cool that works cerealkillajme, i tried playing back my backup dvd but it showed up as unrecognized disc.... ohwell back to backing up games correctly lol.
