How To Hex Edit Mtkflash

Anyone got info on this? I can see what others have done and if I had some info could probably do the same to work with my motherboard (which does not detect the drive in mtkflash). I have nforce 430 chipset, tried the nforce 4 edited mtkflash did not work.
My question what is it that people are editing in mtkflash to get it working?
