Ok ive been working on this for a few days now. My problem is with creating a working backup.

What ive done

• flashed my 360 drive, with xtreme(hex patched with key)- it will boot originals
• flashed xtrm0800, had it detected under bios/windows
• Created a ss with dvdinfo using for cbd commands in readme, saved as ss.bin
• Unlocked the drive in dvdinfo pro (using cbd in readme) could see data layer 7.3.. gbs
• extracted by right clicking on track 1 and extract to- i add the LBA address in readme (and change to user mode)
• Game dumps fine, but with no errors (found in other threads, shouldnt matter)
• copy both ss.bin + game.iso to xbox360 isobuilder & run batch file- it makes the image ok
• burn created image with clone cd- i am using a pioneer DVR 109(which im informed should have bitsetting automatically enabled for +r dl)
• Image burnt successfully, put into my 360 and it boots to a black screen. 5 seconds later, the dashboard displays 'Unrecognized disc, The disc is unreadable, clean the disc restart the console' goto xbox.com etc
• I have tried 2 different +r dl media types, Verbatim and tdk - both with same error, the 360 laser makes slightly different sounds for each (i also burnt at 1x and 2.4x)
• Checked the booktype on the backups, its DVD-ROM

What i plan to do next

• Try another burner, alot of success with NECs apparently
• try another game from scratch on a different pc (may be difficult to find one compat.)
• get another job to pay for all of these pretty coasters....

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated

Well i see we are both using pioneer burners....i need to get my hands on something else (ill probably buy an nec)to test this tomorrow... can anyone confirm a pioneer burnt backup working??

After some more reading i think my problem is im burning the .0000  file isnstead of the .dvd files deeer, gos to show read the tutorial to the T.
