Well, I have gotten my firmware flashed with the xtrm0800.bin. I can see the drive in Windows XP, etc. I send the unlock command via dvdinfopro. I then launch isobuster, and here is where the trouble begins. First off, isobuster detects the media as a CD, as opposed to DVD. No big deal I assume. Next, I select the extract from/to option. I then follow the steps of the mksoftware tutorial which can be downloaded here at xbox-scene. Once the copying starts, I get 5% in and it stops. The copying animation does not stop and the drive is still spinning, thus I assume its encountering read errors as expected. However, I never get prompted regarding read errors. It just sits at 5% and continually tries to read. I have left it this way for an hour or more and still no change. Any ideas? (this is in regards to trying to make a backup of my original NBA Live 2006) Does it take longer than an hour to be prompted regarding the read errors? Is there perhaps a setting in the isobuster options to prompt when there is a read error? I couldnt find such an option myself. Anyways, any help is appreciated!
