Nforce3 Chipset
« on: May 17, 2006, 09:42:00 PM »

ok, ive been trying this for a while now, but i cant get my drive detected.

using unpatched version of mtkflash;

_boot with 360 not connected, only ide dvd and sata hd, swap sata hd with 360 after boot: drive not detected
_boot with everything diconnected, only 360 drive connected to sata1: drive not detected.

surely i must be overlooking something since nf3 is supposed to be supported. any tips would be much appreciated.

my DFI Lanparty UT NF3 board has worked like a dream with this

it detects fine on POST.. using sata ports labeled 3 and 4.. unpatched mtkflash worked first time every time

not sure what the issue with yours is..  :/

if you didnt try the ports under the CPU.. thats your problem.. i put the sata cable to 1 and 2 to test.. and that reported no drive... connected to 3 or 4 and it works brilliantly
