Making A Game Backup Info
« on: May 17, 2006, 07:11:00 PM »

Im a little curious about when your making a backup of your game, in iso buster it got all the way to 100% but in the PDF file it says to wait for an error message and choose with blank zeros. Well my game never gave me that message. Im using DOA4. Is it still going to be okay to run build360.bat then burn it? I dont wanna waste a dual layer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Made my first backup of DOA4 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) SWEEEEEEEEEEET

Now does anyone know how to extract the ss.bin from a game so we dont have to search for them elsewhere. Im still fuzzy on how to get the info from the game or whatever.

You have to open dvdinfopro and select the send custom command option. Then you have to send the CDB values that are in the readme that comes with the firmware package to the dvd drive, (4 seperate commands in all) and click the save as binary button in the screen where it shows the output from the commands. Name it ss.bin and your golden.

Hi

I have some problems getting my ISO rip to work.

1. Got the SS sectors out (2 bytes diff compared to download PGR3 SS (PAL) )
2. Unlocked the drive.

When you save the "from-to" to you only change the block size to 2048 and the Length to "3567872" and then save the track to "game.iso" right?

Do you use CloneCD or CloneDVD2 to burn with?

Thats right, just follow it step by step and you shouldnt have any troubles. I just finished my 2nd backup. Got 2 more to go until i can afford to go buy some new games lol As it states, burn with CloneCD

Thanks
