Couldn't agree more. Especially love the 100 posts in the initial release of the FW thread that all say "great job, now if we could only get the Hitachi FW hack" or "oh this sucks, I've got the Hitachi". I mean goddamn any idiot knows that the Hitachi hack is right around the corner. As if the hack wasn't easy enough as it is, the same people that bitched for the last 2 months since the word of TheSpecialist hack are now bitching about they need a full picture tutorial to do it. Plain and simple if you don't feel like you can do it don't, don't ask 50 million questions about shit that has already been covered. If you people spam posting only knew how much of a pain in the ass it is having to dig through 20 pages of posts trying to find "real" technical info that is actually useful. Only reason I haven't hacked mine is I don't have onboard SATA connections and so far there are no confirmed PCI to SATA converters or IDE to SATA converters. Have my drive sitting on my desk, but I'm dead in the water until I find someone with onboard SATA (that works for this hack), build a new PC, or keep trying adapters/cards till one works.
Also I hope you guys know I've seen people on other sites making fun of this site about all the noobs asking questions.
EDIT: And right after I post this I see the question that was submitted while I was writing this. (IMG:

I couldn't agree more, and it's those people who are pissing off the far more informed Hitatchi owners, many of whom are actually helping them out on forums with a hack they haven't even had a chance to have a go at themselves, and they're in a position to do so because they've taken the time to read up on the fucking thing.
