Worth Getting A Ts-h943 As A Backup?
« on: May 16, 2006, 10:31:00 AM »

I'm wondering if you think it's worth it to buy a TS-H943 even though most likely firmware for the Hitachi is coming soon.

Mainly thinking it's a good idea to have a backup, just incase something goes wrong.

Has anyone actually swapped a Hitachi for a Samsung and had success?

Thanks.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

You can swap, you just have to take the key from the old drive and put it in the new drive for it to work.

I don't think it's worth buying one now. It's probably gonna be hard to find a Sammy cheap, especially since everybody want's one due to the Sammy FW being released first.

You are probably right. Just the "need to have it first" instinct kicking in.

Guess I'll see how the users of the TS flashed drives are getting along (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
