Well after 93 hits and not a SINGLE reply, I decided screw it, and did the firmware update and created the boxes first live account (guess the previous owner never did anything online, it let me create my free 30 day gold account), got the required update to play avi's, etc., and all is well, I guess..  No idea if my system was flagged or whatever, or if anything bad will happen a week, month, 2 years down the road..  Plays the files now though, so all is good.
