ive looked in .76, .72 and .79 and cant find a skins folder, i even installed and ran them all to see if it would make on and i can get them all to run jusy fine but when i copy over .84 i get that .xpr error msg.

Thraxen, try setting ur clock, it worked on older versions.

after the DL fix it runs just fine for me.

I checked my clock and it was fine. MAMEoX still won't run. I switched over to Evox just to make sure it wasn't something to do with Avalaunch... same result. It locks up, but it's not a hard lock since I can still reset back to the dashboard.

Should I be seeing the screen that says, "A new version of MAME has been detected"? That is what happened in the past, but I didn't see it this time. It just went straight to the "Insert Coin" screen. The credits roll across just fine, but it freezes if I touch any button (not just the insert coin button).

im ftping it now lets see if i have the same problem. and for gods sakes xprot now that the memery issues are fixed compress the mameox.xbe a 30 meg xbe lol its just a nice space killer.

tested mameox is working fine. make shure you delete the old mameox save file using the msdash then install the new one that normaly couses lockups in most emulators.

some people have reported problems in the past (lockup at insert coin screen) when certain controller models are plugged into port 2.

Try booting mameox with a s type controller or original controller in port one, and nothing else and see if it boots.
