re: constant maintenance - No, I'm not planning to do anything more than what I noted. Perhaps the original authors will find time again to continue with the merges.  (Although from what I hear, their lives are quite busy at the moment.)

Will u be adding the flicker filter option though?  wink.gif

Who cares

will vm give us the option to play chd files or no? Also I hope i can replace kawax totaly... i dont want it on my damn list or hard drive if mame can soon play the same damn games. Gunuange does not play on mameox btw..... there is one i thought of that ya can add to the list.

other than the n64 and the snes.... xport is xbox emulation.... where would we be with out him...... granted if his ports were not avalible other coders would have picked some up but still..... this guy is the man.... even if he has no time to eat sleep work or get laid. Take a break and go on vacation after this.... I think you have done enough for a while.

Now the authors of chanka were possibly talking about porting it to the xbox when its highly optomized.... maybe if the source from girgir or what ever becomes more legible maybe it could make a decent xbox port as well..... if this ever happened a long with freedo becoming open source i would no longer need ANYTHING ever again for a few years unless its the xbox2 getting the ability to read xbox 1 xbes like these emus and unleashx..... xport you rock im gonna find some ho to suck your cock.

guwange was already on the list.  That's what you meant, right?

also, I think you can already play some chd files with mameox, it's just pretty slow.  I could load up beatmania at least and it was somewhat playable.

Again, I have 128 MB of memory so I'm not sure if it's the memory that is making the difference there.  Please don't get your hopes up for some of those CHD games running well - some don't run well on my AMD 3000+ XP.

beerchug.gif , BRAVO for this, you did a great job, with all the rumors there has been, I didn t know if VMM mame would be out (someone told me mameox team and lantus had it enabled, but after all, it was too long to do all this and they stopped).

I CARE...

I was asking him a question about the work he is doing on this emulator, and if it will also free up more memory for chd files, you on the other hand were asking for a request 4 some flicker filter right after he posted about no requests..... so who fucking cares.

yes that was the game, and its cool that chd files play.... the ones i attempted to play would not load.

Lightgun support, eh?  Does this mean the Lethal Enforcer 1+2 and Terminator 2 will be working with gun support?  Oh man, THAT would kick ass!

Speaking of implementing things, I've heard mention several times about analog support.  I'm assuming this covers things like steering wheels, gas pedals, track balls, and so on, right?  I whittled myself a USB to Xbox adapter the other day, and while I was pleased to have my keyboard work, I was surprised to see mouse support was never implemented.

And since you're picking up this project, does that mean you're going to implement all the great Xport options we've come to expect? I've always appreciated the HDTV support smile.gif  Think about it, Asteroids NEEDS more than 640x480 wink.gif  Pretty much any vector-based game would benefit hugely.

Can't tell you enough how much I appreciate this update, Xport.  I've recently completed restoring a Street Fighter 2: Champion Edition arcade machine into an Xbox gaming machine, so this new MameOX version will surely be the jewel in its crown!  Thanks again Xport, you've made my friends and I a very pleased pack of nerds smile.gif

teminator 2 doesn't use a light gun, the guns in the arcade were actually joysticks (remember operation wolf)
