Opening Up The Built In Xbox Emulator?
« on: April 20, 2010, 04:15:00 AM »

Just wondered if it was possible/being worked on/been done...

The current Xbox emulator just brings up a message saying "this game is not compatible" if a game is played when it's not on the "compatible" list, or "this game can not run on the VGA lead as it requires the 50hz refresh rate". Has anyone completely disabled these messages so that the emulator, like PC emulators generally do, just plays what it can with compatibility, crashes and framerate issues present?

It would open up the compatible list a lot more, especially for us PAL users, who cannot run Project Zero because they made Fatal Frame compatible... etc.

Forgot to mention that the Xbox games I want to play are original copies and not ISOs/DVDRs.

Edit: Spelt Fatal Frame wrong and added last paragraph.

Ah, found it... thank you.

One last question though...

Is there a way to get it to run on a non-modified Xbox 360 with the latest dashboard? By signing the files or something..?
