I'm pretty sure it can (since your 360 is Jtagged).  In fact if can accept a 2TB drive and then some, if bigger drives existed.  There is a tutorial about making a 3.5 in drive an internal drive in the Hardware Section...it's listed in the Tutorial sticky.

I read a thread about the size difference (physical size LxWxH) between the orginal 360 HDD and the 1TB HDD's.  Because the sizes are different you might have to modify the hdd cage.

I'm not sure if it applies to the hdd you ordered, but it is worth looking into.

(I don't remember where that thread is)

Naw, I ordered a standard laptop 2.5" drive, identical to the 360 original, only 1Tb. smile.gif

Thanks again

The 1TB 2.5 drives are actually a litter thicker than the standard 360 drive. Be prepared to make some modifications to the cage.

The 1TB/750GB 2.5" HDD's are 3mm thicker than normal 2.5" drives.  I think there may or may not be some extra space in the housing.  Don't be so quick to dismiss someone's advice trying to help you.

i upgraded mine to a 640gb no problem, and have a 2tb usb external..

I was wondering: Has anyone tried, or know if it's possible to have multiple USB external drives hooked up?

Under the freestyle dash it finds games both on my xbox hdd, and my external hdd, and they're all in the same list.

I was just curious if it is possible to say use a USB hub and have more than one external usb drive if you ever run out of space and don't want to upgrade to a bigger drive

I'm sure you could, remember Rock band comes with an external hub for multiple peripherals. I used to use that for my wireless adapter and to hide my external HD usb cable in the back of the xbox 360 (just too ugly to have hanging out the front) and it worked. I wouldn't see why multiple HD's wouldn't.

Use a good HDD explorer (that supports 1tb lol) then or simply using usb transfer with xexmenu because hooking it up to pc will be a bitch for that.
