Wow, take a break.

However,

Not all the latest cheat-code formats are supported.

If you go to the websites of gameshark/action repaly you can see what the latest versions are.

Gameshark is pretty much gone anyway, you should add Action Replay support.

Ridley - show me some source code for decrypting the codes of whatever device you want me to implement and I'll do so.

Btw Xport, everything is still going well! just like in V15.  There is some sound snapping when the low pass filter is on in Metroid Zero but I guess that's normal since I run it at 1 frameskip.  Just thought I'd let you know, of course I would assume that the low pass filter would rob cpu cycles. (Frameskip set to 2 has no snapping)

Excellent work!  Since V10, vba has been one of my fav emus to play on.  The scrolling is a lot more smooth and most games are more pleasant to the eye now with better fps!

Cheers.

My man Xport...sheesh man.  This is "Version Seventeen." How does that sound? Most programs and such only reach like v3 and you're at v17. That's amazing.  But these updates are so small, wouldn't it be better to just make it like 16.5 or something like that?

Two more back to back updates had me thinking you had implemented link support for GBA or something man... tongue.gif

bah, v17 or 1.7.

It's all numbers, why go into decimals? I prefer to have it's releases numbered rather than going into some pseudo numbering jumping from 3.1 to 4.0
Hell, v186 would still sound nice, it would clearly mean it's the 186th release.

thanks for the continued work on xboyadvance, xport!  I was pretty surprised when I read the v15 changelog and it said speed optimizations had been done - most xbox emu ports don't do that kind of extra work.  Cheers for that!

I'm curious, since you are optimizing, if you think it could be possible for full-speed gba emulation with xboxadvance?  Or if the code would require too much overhaul?  Right now its pretty damn close, a few more fps gained could have most/all games running at full speed w/ no frameskip.

how about a 'reset rom' option? the save states don't always have the same effect.

Yeah I always wondered why Xport's emus never had a "Reset Rom" function.
