Another question to Xport: as you know, putting the Xbox in 50Hz PAL mode dramatically improves the smoothness of the scrollers and the display in general. Since it seems that switching from NTSC to PAL is not easy without fiddling with the EEPROM settings, I was wondering if there was a way to tweak the emulator code so the 60hz display is as smooth as the 50Hz one.
I remember the good old days when I was using a simple CLI command to switch my PAL Amiga to 60hz, so the games were taking the whole screen. Sometimes the music was accelerated since the coders where using the vsync as a timer for the modules routines, but the scrollings smoothness was never reduced by a 60Hz display. So I guess this is not a machine limitation, but an UAE implementation issue instead in the PC version. Do you think a fix for the Xbox version could be considered?
Anyways, thank you so much for all the good old memories WinUAEX brought me back

WinUAEx doesn´t touch the EEPROM at all to set up 50 or 60 hz. You can choose to force 50 hz without writing the EEPROM from its video option menu. Also, the only way to keep smooth scrolls at 60 hz would be accelerate the whole emulation by a 20%...which is not a good idea.
