One question! Is there any way to play the rock band DLC or the exported tracks on a non-JTagged console?

hey! you will never believe what i just found out!
all you need is just ONE DLC song and boom!!! UNLIMITED songs! (or as many as RB2 will allow)
I just renamed all the files from that one DLC, with new custom names,
and now it shows 2 different songs, both with there own score... thats crazy!

I've only done 2 songs, but I would think if you keep renaming the files for each song, that it would keep adding new songs!
I'm surprised on how easy this really was

excellent stuff dude,im also paying attention to your thread on rock band scorehero forums,ideally what we need is you to write a basic tutorial or share this info with somebody who can maybe write a script for jtag so an app can add what's needed easily,can you try with a custom on scorehero or frets on fire?

He'll post his data up soon i would say as the guy Mahopian cracked GH3 in 1 shot. literally. This guy is the freaking master !!!

I hope he puts it up really soon as i wanna get all my customs into Live containers ready for when i get my xbox jtag'ed.

nice guide dude only issue is no matter how many times i try soon as i hit enter after the .mogg and .ogg command songcrypt crashes,i notice it creates the file .ogg but doesn't say decrypter mogg

It may be due to the DLC you use.

From my understanding older DLC can be decrypted by SongCrypt but newer versions cannot.

So you would need to use an older DLC to start with.

Try that and let us know...

Any DLC from Jan 2009 and newer cannot be decrypted with SongCrypt. Harmonix changed the encryption to prevent just what your trying to do and the original author of SongCrypt cannot update SongCrypt without facing legal action by Harmonix.

makes no difference dude same problem,part of the guide is a bit confusing going from original(promisedland) to custom( but i only have a guitar ogg so guessing thats what i open in audicity add the other 10 tracks to it) then i move audio left to track 7,audio right to track 8,then were it says copy and move to song(left) im guessing track 11,song right(track 12)
