It dosent work it only work for dev kits because of non encryptid network.

I find that pretty hard to beleive... there's no way the xbox360 ONLY supports encrypted communications. I don't remember reading anywhere that Windows Media Center transmits encrypted data.

There still a paring of the PC to the console for media center meaning its an approved device for communication with the console.

You can believe what you want but its been confirmed.

Could media center be emulated in some way to be used as a middleman between traffic to and from the 360? If the 360 let's it's guard down for certain devices this seems like a possibility. Probably thought of and shot down already, sorry for my brain fart just had to ask (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The idea of a trusted source being used for a man in the middle attack was though off and protected against

Mind pointing me to some article about it? ...or more specifically point out what on the xbox360 stops unencrypted traffic from being accessible by the system (i.e. Dash, Kernel, Hypervisor, etc).

This app only works on debug consoles, it is old and outdated and it looks like someone now leaked it as well (since there is a youtube video of it) :/
