I cannot launch original xbox1 games, even with the backwards compatibility update installed.

Is this a problem with xbr or do i need to patch the backwards compatibility update with 360gamehack?

Are you using an official Microsoft Hard drive when you installed the BC update?

after you make your live file where do you place it on hd, i've tried partition3/content/00000000000000 folder,im using Le_fluffes app but as i haven't seen a tut on it im just guessing i hit creation, right box opposite root i right click, add file then select ini and default.xex from quickboot folder select it as a live file not con or par file, last tab hit creation and save it as a random name i chose l4d2 as it was for left 4 dead 2,thats when i copied it to hard drive partition mentioned above, but isnt showing up under demo/games on jtag dashboard, i changed the ini file to look at usb\backup0\default.xex as i ripped it from disc onto usb and yes i only use one usb drive also all l4d2 files run through xextool

You need to put it in a couple of folders for it to showup properly.

Like: HDD:\Content\0000000000000\"something"\00080000\L4D2

The "something" is the Title ID you used in Le Fluffie.

Truly just wait ~24 hours and this whole process will be a lot easier smile.gif

You'll be annoyed if you do it all manually now and then in a few hours see there's a much quicker way of doing it.

It has an easier method. We will have it on xbins shortly.

Is there a way to change it manually by hex-editing the live file?

I have a xenon 360 that i have jtagged (XBRebooter latest version) and an official 20gig drive.  Obviously theres not a lot of room on there to save games.  I have a Sata > USB cradle and a 500 GB Sata drive i would love to be able to use to run my games from. I know how to rip the files from the original games, question is, how to format, setup and get the game files on the external drive and get them to run ?

 Any help greatly appreciated.
thanks

I just opened up my xbox 20GB drive and put a 320GB one in there, put it in the xbox and formatted it from the xbox dash and it comes up with all the space usable. Excellent.
