With multimeater strip 1 wire then test each pin intill you find the live one. cut the wires you dont need.

Any wire will work, I used a old network cable for its wires.

Also on all the guide pics you would wire it backwards.
Because they are showing the computers side so its mirrored.

The pictures guides show the computers port.
If you wire it exactly the same on a cable then it will all be backwards.

Ill try make a little drawing thing to explain

Computer port is like this

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

And the plug/cable would be like

9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

But then when you plug them together the plug/cable is face away from you so its backwards.

Do you get it now?

yeah. I dont know how else to explain it.

But imagin on the diagram thats the computers port.
and its showing you what it would be like if you were just jamming the wires on the computer side.

Now if you added a plug between those wires and the socket.
The plug is facing away from you.

But when you remove the plug you turn it around so its facing you.
It will be mirrored from that diagram.

I cant explain it any better then that lol. Guess you will just figure it out once you are acturally wiring it up.

that pic is from a falcon which is different wiring due to the hdmi port using the IOs that the xenon hack had free and used them.

Resistors can go on eather side doesnt matter, I dont use them tho as if your lpt is 3.3V it will give you read errors.

And you dont need to use the 3 jtag wires to read/write to the nand. They are there to boot xell, which only works on dash versions below 8XXXX.
