WinUAEX Amiga Emulator port for XBox v4

What's New:

- Fixed a bug where WinUAEX would crash if you tried to load an ISO file before
  running a real CD game.

- Option to select your own flicker filter level 0-5 (default is 5 - max enabled)

- Changed max FastRAM to 8MB

- Added option for up to 1MB SlowRAM

- ADZ-as-ZIP and ADZ-as-GZIP should both work now (as well as normal .GZ)

- Added 720x480 and 720x576 modes to Video Configuration menu

- Fixed screenshot size to trim the edges of blank space

- Repositioned LEDs so the screen doesn't have to be horribly askew to see them

- Added option to hide filename extensions - find it on General Settings menu

- Added option to always bring up save/load state menu on General Settings menu
If this option is turned on, then whenever you press the in-game button-combo
to save/load a state it will display the load/save state menu from which you
  can select the state.
If the option is off, then the normal default behavior of immediately
loading/saving the current state slot will occur.

- Screenshot saved with each save state

- Fixed bug where if you ejected a disk from In-Game options menu and then immediately
selected "Reset Amiga", it would act as though the disk was not ejected.

- Added option to configure text screen size/position for viewing text files

- If you select the same text file to view you will be placed back at the position
  you left it.

- Added Controller -> Joypad Mappings -> UI Mappings option for "Text Browser"
Assign a key-combo to this function and when invoked, it will take you back
to the last text file you were browsing at the position you left it.
This makes it much easier to jump back and forth from game <-> doc.
Note - you must first manually select a file to browse from the "Game Utilities"
menu off of the "In Game Options" menu.

Meh. GOing to have to download it and check it out in the motel room during my trip to Chicago. Damn you and your bad timing! :)

Seriously though, can't wait to get a chance to play with the fast RAM, I've not really even had much time to play with V3, but I guess all that don't matter now.

Thankx again, I wanna have your baby if science ever advances that far!!!!

Ok, I'm starting to have my doubt's that you are a real person XPort.  You are really some strange robotic emulator/game porting machine I bet.  That day you released updates to like 10 of your emu ports and I think a couple game ports around Cristmas I had my suspicions, lately I think you've confirmed it.

Hi there,

How do you actually launch an installed os3.1 from a harddisk directory?
Right now I use a single disk, in options I eject the disk again and setup the harddisk file, so it is saved to this disk's config.
So I boot my os3.1 with a non inserted floppydisk...sounds weird. :)
But it's working like a charm.

Just tried a few Demos and Games.

They appear to run slower then previous winuaex versions.

I have noticed this particularly on scrolling demos where text would normally scroll smoothly but not on V4.

Messed around with configs but still slower  :uhh:

*Ignore*
Forgot to force Pal 50 from Winuaex menu...doh

Has anyone had any probs with HDFs?
I'm using some bootable hdf's I prepped with WINUAE and tested them, however on WinUAEX I select them, set the kick rom to 3.1 and it just shows a 1.3 floppy disk image and gets no further?

Anyone had a similar experience or an idea what I'm doing wrong?

I tried replacing the kick rom with one I knew was correct and it didn't seem to matter, also tried adjusting the boot priority but still no luck :(

Hopefully it's just something to do with my setup? (these are WB3.0 based installs)

v2 is the smoother version.

btw, I can't see any differences with the flicker filter enabled/disabled. Am I wrong if I suppose it's only useful for those without RGB/SCART TVs?

sensible, do you use images?
in the v2 post i think xport talked about opening the the iso files and look at 0x9000 for an entry like cd32 or something, than they should work.
When i open my few working images, i get a ÿCD001.
