Updateing Xell With Gentoo ?

i am trying to update to updxell-20090911.zip but none of my usb sticks work (yet)

and i read here http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?topic=12373.0

that you can update thorugh linux with lfash or something,

can anyone help

Yup but you will need to download the source and compile lflash. I was unable to get it compiled so I just used the lpt.

all you have to do is download the bootable gentoocd (live cd 2) and then download the lflash.c file from git. You can download on your main pc and use a usb stick to transfer to the xbox. Compile it on the xbox. very very simple/easy  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif)

Your usb stick WILL work once gentoo has booted. insert the stick, and mount it some place.
