Playing Xbox360 Game Backup From Harddrive

Nope.
Xbox 360 isnt hack. Only the dvd drive firmware is which lets it play burnt disks.
And the xbox also checks the disk every so often to make sure its the real game and that the disk is still in the tray.

wait so if its a backup disk in the tray it can tell afterwards?

no he means that when you play off the HDD it will stop spinning the disc and not use it so people have been opening up the dvd drive and using that 1 disc to boot up say 3 copies of halo 3, so now the 360 will spin up the disc every so often and check to see if it is still there
