Mame Difficulties

I downloaded mameox and simpsons the arcade game. I changed mame so that it goes to f:\roms where i put all the rom files at. It doesn't recognize it. Can i manually choose it or was i supposed to leave it zipped or in a folder. Thanks for help in advance

Leave them zipped.  Also I don't think that you were supposed to change the directory.

And I think you meant to say you dumped your original arcade simpsons cabinet, backing it up into a rom format. Right? ;)
