1. The 'ski mask' was actually a texture error in the video plugin. With the new video in Surreal v2 that is all fixed.

2. Castlevania:Legacy of Darkness worked on Surreal v1 and also works on v2. I guess you had a bad rom.

Yea, I hope the problem with freezing when loading a save state is fixed.  Its a real bummer when it freezes while playing paper mario...(awesome game!) hehe

I admit, I found it insanely odd (no pun intended) for 1964 to suddenly STOP being open source... I remember the first release of that emu and the authors going crazy about it being the "open source project".
