To answer a few general questions...

The New rice video has a ton of visual graphical fixes, aswell as some added emulation support for certian games (couple things in perfect dark [bullets effects], few things in mario tennis..etc) that will make some games run better.

Yes, rouge squadron is not supported? lol.

As for Dr Mario, i actually think the newest plugin breaks it again? I think it worked in 5.4.1 ? Depending on a few compatibility issues you might possibly see the integration of two different versions of rice's plugin so you can still have the option to play 'insert game here' without any issues related to the newest version.

Conkers is near perfect now as far as graphics. Mario tennis/golf are looking alot better.

As for perfect dark....we'll see. I think odd and lantus have some tricks up their sleeves, but i wouldnt get your hopes up for a perfect perfect dark.

Also, keep in mind that they are still working on the plugin, so try not to pester them for screenshots/compatibility ; ) What doesnt work now may work in 2 weeks.

If you guys want to know the full features of the new plugin, then you should head over to emutalk.net 1964 forums and read the rice video thread. That will give you the best insight as to whats new/fixed/broken.

the newest spources are already available.
Rice(the developer of the plugin) has stopped the work on his plugin though...

The newest 1964 sources are *not* availible and there is no eta whatsoever as to when they will be.

Rice's video plugin is open source and readily availible, so thats the basis for improvment upon the next version of surreal.

Holy Cr@p!  I didn't see that listed anywhere.  When did that happen?

Awesome, these screenshots are unbelievable.  I hope that some things that aren't mentioned are fixed (like Star Fox 64 being weird).

And what about Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, do those games run well now without slowdown and lockups ?

Because my little brother still loves Pokemon after all this time, and since he only owns a Xbox now (sold his PS2), he can't play any unless he has a GC. But I told him, they are a waste of money,stick with the Xbox biggrin.gif
