Xenonlive (software Mod)
« on: September 17, 2007, 01:49:00 PM »

I'm working on a Software Mod for the 360. I have a Dev Kit for the Xbox 360(US Version) and I've been using it for some programming on XenonLive(Mod) I'm going to try to make the mod look like Halo 2 on Xbox Live(Meaning like: Playing:Halo 2 , Online).
This is my checklist for the mod:
Loadable on latest dashboard update without exploit - Check
Dashboard like interface works - Check
C++ Emulators boot via Xplorer(Put into HD) - No
Homebrew Bootable - Check
Linux Bootable - No , not yet. (Need help)
Web Browsing - Check(Via Xplorer , Firefox USB)
Windows Based Command Prompt - No
Works on all 360's to date - ?(Not tested on all 360s)
Burnable to DVD - Yes
Loadable via HD(Xplorer) - No(I put it in with my Xbox Live Arcade games and it loads and gives me a white screen. Help plz.)

I took the Kiosk Disc code and used Call Of Duty 2 to load The "Dashboard" , All the Call Of Duty code was removed except for the first loading part in which I exploited and had it load code.

I need some help I want everything to work!

Um...

You do know a dev kit will run unsigned code while a retail system will not.

Thats why i used the kiosk disc data. The code will run because I'm using "Modified" Call Of Duty 2 and King Kong Code.

The kisoc disk is blocked unless you have an early kernal.

I dont know what you are trying here so forgive me when I say I can not see how you can take what work on a dev unit and make it work on a retail. It just sounds too easy to work given how good the system's security is.

at xboxhacker i believe they are trying to 'unblock' the kioskdisc because then they would be able to use that 'demo' of kingkong instead of the full retail... && put linux on the same disc ofcourse.. (note you can hex the bootloader sda into your kingkong iso..)

It can perfectly exist. No problem.

It's just that it works only on dev kits, so this fantastic software will be used by, let's say...
10 people over the whole planet.

So, go for it, create a wonderful site showing it, and prepare 10 logins for its users...

And forgive us (since we have retail consoles) if we ignore your project...

Am I right in assuming that itd be alto easier to find an exploit.  This guy seems to know most about what he’s doing.

The guy is a fraud.

He had another topic and his XDK was a PC which he name XBox 360 XDK 2007

There is no Dev kit exploit so stop bumping a BS thread.
