Halo 3 Crackdown Beta File.
« on: September 13, 2007, 05:26:00 PM »

Hello, I was in the Halo 3 multiplayer beta last summer. During the beta, I transferred the file to my computer through Xplorer360. I was wondering if anyone knows how to open the file. The file doesn't have an extension, and I've tried everything to my knowledge to open it.

Any advice?

When you say "open" what exactly do you mean. if you mean open as in run/launch , then i dont think you'll have much luck trying to run 360 code on your computer

By open, I mean to extract the files from it. I'm pretty sure that the contents inside the file are default.xbe, and any needed media files.

The Halo 3 beta was a temporary affair. The beta servers were shutdown, so even if you were to successfully extract the files and run them, actual gameplay would be impossible.
