« on: June 23, 2007, 02:32:00 AM »

well im so excited its not funny, anyways i was snooping around in my windows vista media center program folder, and i found a folder containing a xbx file, im guessing for mce and its called XboxMCX-V.XEX so i got the summer backwards compatibility update from xbox.com and renamed it to XboxMCX-V.XEX and selected media center in the 360 dashboard it booted the summer update thing, someone give me some unsigned stuff to test! And now for the not so *ass* of a reply!

Unfortunatly he's correct, you wont get anywhere from that file, been found, tested, died long ago.

Really the only HUGE stuff now is with the flash dump program and all that stuff, I feel thats where were gonna do our breakthrough stuff (and M$ is im sure worried over it).

leaps and bounds we've came in the past few months. Patience and soon we'll be able to enjoy our 360's even more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

but on with topic....yes...it is a dead end (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) but glad you *found* it on your own instead of reading it and trying to do it (like 90% of the people on this forum)

always good to see someone rooting around where they shouldnt belong (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) *cheers mate*
