What are you talking about....?!??!?!

A ) This is the 360 hacking forums.

B ) The 360 Dashboard files are not on the hdd, they are on the NAND with the kernel.  A core does not have a hdd, so how do you think it boots its dash?

C ) How do you plan to 'kick' to it, let a lone flash it to the NAND?

D ) It will not work, so dont bother wasting your time.

Caster.

Caster, he means the Xbox 1 Dashboard, as in xboxdash.xbe. You know the green one.

Grimdoomer, the xboxdash on the 360 harddrive if i remember correctly is more or less a dummy file (if anyone knows more chime in please) and replacing the xboxdash on the 360HD with Evox or any equivalent won't allow the dashboard to boot. The emulator still needs things that are properly signed. Also, I don't think there is anyway to really boot the xboxdash.xbe on the 360 (The games that allow return to dashboard aren't BC and on that note the XboxDash itself would have to be compatible with the libraries that are BC).
So in a simple answer: No xboxdash can't be replaced with anything meaningful.
