Pgr3 Hack

a couple of days ago i was playing pgr3 online ,in one race a player had a yellow f50gt.
these cars only come in red,i was wondering how they changed things to do this.

is a case that you change the iso image with some type of editor?
i believe it was also the case that he managed to change speed values etc,

any ideas?

ask him, if he doesnt respond then check again if you can buy the car in a different color...

remember that this could also be an exploitation of a glitch or something like it was done in pgr2


Otherwise check the Pgr3 files and see what can/cant be changed. I'm sorry but I havent modded my 360 yet (firmware) so I cannot view the pgr3 files myself so take a look and check back here

no ,dont think you buy this car i am sure he must have changed the hex values or something.

ive had a look at the iso and wouldnt know where to begin .

before people start asking how to do it, i'm pretty sure angerwound made the PIRS archive for the save with his dev kit. either that or he disassembled a hell of a lot of code.

interesting....

I might have to think about getting the 360 action replay or something for things like this... although I wont be able to get achievements or anything from it(shitty Microsoft updates) Oh well still cool though

Be carefull tho. I read somewhere that people were being banned from Live for having different colour cars (although I may be wrong, or it was through a route that involved hacking an ISO)
