Its A Long Shot But Ill Ask
« on: May 18, 2004, 10:55:00 PM »

I have my xboyadvanced programed to save the status of my game when I hit the black and back button,  well I was getting sleepy so I thought I woulld just explore till i died, when I did i hit the black, back, left and right triggers to back out to avalanch.  when i did it saved over my only save game of me dead, and the only time i used the actuall game save was near the begining of the game.

Does any one happen to have a game save of metoid zero mission around the time you face mother brain.  This is a great game but i doubt I'll ever play it again if i have to play half of it again.  All i need is the game save files that Xboyadvanced produces.  anyway, thanks in advanced to any that can help.

Edit: Ok I have found a save at gamefaqs.com but it is a sps file.  anyone know how to make this work in xboyadvanced or another GBA emu?

Edit2:  Solved! I DL Visual Boy Advanced, loaded metroid zero mission, imported the sps save file, did a quick save, renamed the quicksave to match the name system of Xboyadvanced and that did it!  so I guess this is a way to DL game saves for the GBA from gamefaqs.com and use them on the xbox.  hope this can help some one else.

Never underestimate the importance of in-game saves.
