What Does The Network Screencrash Suggest?
« on: April 03, 2006, 06:30:00 AM »

It looked to me like the exception handling path, that is invoked following the network cable pull, wasn't coded with the anticipation that the screen saver would have kicked in and, consequently, doesn't restore the frame buffer pointer to the correct location.  Having dealt with the exception, the code continues along intended execution paths, and the frame buffer pointer is eventually corrected along the way.

every packet is encrypted and it would be a massive pain(if even possible) to decrypt and resign every packet
