External Oscillator (Wiring to HANA is no longer required)

I was right in previous topic, it is a QSMD quartz osc.

but, here is quote from GliGli's readme to RGH

Our first idea was to remove the 27Mhz master 360 crystal and generate our own clock instead but it was a difficult modification and it didn't yield good results.

wonder where this osc will connect and how it will change things, still cant believe that they did something new.

Sounds great, but I don't understand why it wouldn't work for Xenon/Corona if the HANA chip is not required.

I think eventually it might help xenon and corona boards, maybe the timing files just aren't there.

xenon will not glitch, xenons cpu uses slightly different clock source. it was tested and it just hangs up everytime. theres nothing to do with it. forget about it.

big problem with coronas is not a glitcher, it is new NANDs and eMMC storages.

there are two different corona flash chips, the standard hynx and the new emmc.
