Self Installing Lt Chip?
« on: July 10, 2010, 11:47:00 AM »

I've been away from the scene for awhile now and I keep seeing these LT simple install chips and I was just wondering what are the best ones for Liteon drives?

most of us don't use them.  vampire and probe2 is the way to go if you have a connectivity kit to power your drive.  other wise, if you can solder, all u need is 2 pieces of wire and a 22 ohm resistor.

22 ohm resistor.

I've had more success with 18 ohm resistors than 22 ohm ones.

measure the resistance in your 22 ohm resistor and you'll find out why.
