Worth Upgrading To Mameox .79?

i like playing mortal kombat 2 and NBA jam at playable speeds, so is it really worth upgrading to the new release of mameox that came out today?  i purposely switched back to the old .6x version that plays these games better, but was hoping the new version would help as well.  any input?  <

it's not going to help things in that department.  Those midway games are still choppy.  <
