Iv been onholiday 4 da last 2 months nd I've missed quiet a lot involvin ban waves etc...  Iv got 2 xenons with no dvd drive or key on a 7xxx kernel and I hav orderd a cygnos v2 and I was wondering if I need a new dvd drive 2 get achievments etc..

One box is for my step dad and I need the dvd key frm da nand 2 play backups offline & I will be runnin homebrew on da other

you can but remember M$ are ment to log what you do off line this may go with the profile its a risk i think

I thought that only the xbox stores offline info not the profile.
I posted in here because my phone was messin around and kept on clicking on this sub-forum.
A mod can move this if neccessary

No need for insults, these forums are designed for us to help one another.

Even if the xbox storage unit logged your activities and not your profile, how would you update your profile online with new achievements if not from that xbox? Otherwise you log in from somewhere else and your profile shows prior points and achievements until the new ones are synced from going online with that hdd or memory unit.  Anyone, feel free to correct me if there is a workaround.

i wasnt insulting i was just puzzled as to y its in the modchip forum theres a lot that get put here that has nothing to do with modchip and i dont know why people do it as it will only take more time to get an answer

Gaining achievements on my JTAG 360 and moving my HDD over to an unmodded 360 to login to live has been working fine for me. Achieve on!
