My experiance is that it might work well.

As I got a Jasper with no trouble on LPT read and write, then chipped with cygnos2, no problems.
With same cable hook up an Zephyr had lots of trouble, got almost every time different reads. Then chipped it with cygnos2 and worked well.
And the last one I got was another Zephyr with the same and also new cable could not get the LPT working at all, after chipping it with the cygnos2, worked as well.

My impression is that the Zephyr boxes are pickier than other models.

Take a deep breath and just try it. The Points are almost all different so very good chances that you will make it throug.

And use straight from beginning the wiring for firmware 1.3 Beta as you just dont connect the X1, X5, X6 and X7 until you upgrade the firmware to 1.03,. It just runs well on me and others...
