Infectus Downgrading?

I was just randomly searching on the internet, and I came across a mod chip and it claims to be able to downgrade to any dash version...

1. Does it work?
2. Would my xbox then be compatible with freeBOOT?

I have an xenon-motherboard xbox.

yes with the add on for it, and as long as your xbox360 meets the requirements found in these forums..search around you will find what you need
i am only saying this because i own version2 and it rocks.....course it will rock better with the Nand i am installing to it to...
