Really Sorry Guys But I Have A Simple Question
« on: October 18, 2009, 07:52:00 AM »

Hey guys, been away for awhile(since XBOX 1) but I am tired of replacing my 360 because it's a POS.  Here's what I wish to do.

I just bought a brand new 360, third one.  I wish to keep it in good shape so I can play on LIVE with my friends during the limited time I have.  I wish to keep this one untouched and connected to live at all times.

I am looking to purchase a second used 360 off of craigslist, preferably a 120 drive model.  I wish to use this one for playing my back up single player games, these are the ones I spent the most time on and most likely are the reasoning for my previous 360s demise.

I need a simple low cost solution for playing my back ups on my non live single player console.  And does it operate like the xbox 1 did where I didn't need a disk?  What is the best long term, cheapest, and simple solution.

Thanks for your help guys, I'm sure you get a lot of this so I really appreciate your time.

hes not using it on live and from what i can tell hes not even going to share a HDD between live and modded so bans don't play in here at all.

you can install the games to the HDD but you will always still need the disc to play.

if your going to keep it off live i would suggest getting a Hitachi simply for IX 1.51 which doesn't have any security checks so it will work with all games to come and you wont have to update it ever.

now granted Hitachi drives aren't the greatest but 1.51 only has the security checks disabled on Hitachi's
