hi all..
what's the easiest way to flash x360 with liteon drive..
theres nothin on xs main site. under tutorials.

tnx

This is in the wrong section, unless you meant flashing with a modchip, then I don't know how to help you..
but if you meant flashing with JungleFlasher or anything, here's what i'd suggest.

1. Make sure you own this:
http://www.diygadget...on/prod_51.html
or make a ghetto one yourself, theres guides online.

2. Hook up the drive to your comp as if you were gonna flash it normally, only have it upside down instead.

3. Remove the back plate of the drive, revealing the PCB and etc..

4. Look for the hole labeled R707 (top left-ish area of the PCB)

5. Hook up your DB9 Serial key extractor to your comp, and then have the probe and clamp ready

6. Open up jungle flasher, eject your drive and then power it down by unplugging the molex.

7. Push your drive tray half in, while its off

8. Attatch the alligator clip to the voltage regulator (black square thing) on your DB9 Serial extractor kit

9. Plug in molex, to re-power on the drive.

10. Stick probe into hole R707

11. With the probe still in, click "Get key, etc etc etc etc" on jungleflasher, and if all goes well, it will get your
Key.bin
Dummy.bin
Inquiry.bin
and Identify.bin
and then use these all to make you a custom iXtreme 1.51 Final Lite-on firmware, that you can flash to the drive rather easily with.

Hopefully I helped..
