I apologize in advance if this question has been asked multiple times already but I was wondering what the best way to go for modding a 360.  Is a hard mod or soft mod better, or is it even worth it if there's a risk at using Live?  I've read that when using a modded 360 its risky to play games on live, but what I am wondering is whether you are still able to update the system/do any updates for the games if they exist.  I am new to the aspect of modding so this is why I am asking.
