Globe 360 V2 Question
« on: July 10, 2008, 03:17:00 AM »

ok im about to buy an xbox 360, and a mod chip for it online. i went to a mod chip site through google and found out about the globe 360 v2. i read the description, and it said that it allows your 360 to play dvd-r 360 backups, among other things. well the process to creating a 360 backup would be to create an iso and burn it to a disc using dvd decryptor. well seeing how that is the same process as creating a ps2 backup, i dont see why the 360 couldnt play them with the chip. also considering the fact that backups have no lisence, that leads me more to believe that it can. so can it play ps2 backups? also can someone give me a link to an installation guide/video for the globe 360 v2?

Globe 360 V2 Question

Uhm, I really don't know what to say about your question concerning playing a PS2 game in an Xbox 360. Using the rationale that they're created using the same "process" would be like saying you could play a Sega CD, Dreamcast, Jaguar CD, CDI, 3DO game in an Xbox 360 since they're all discs. So, the answer is no, there is no such mod, no such thing, no such program that will ever let you play PS2 games in an Xbox 360 without actually putting a PS2 in an Xbox 360 case.

On a more serious note, you can easily google an installation diagram for the globe 360 v2 and a disassembly tutorial. If you haven't soldered or modded anything before (since you believe a PS2 game could be played on a 360), please don't ruin your console trying to do so.
