Hi All,
my drive has finally given up and I can not get anything to be recognised by my 360 drive. I tried a replacement laser, no change, pot tweaking, no change so I decided it was just knackered.
I have now bought a replacement drive (GDR-3120L same as previous)
my previous drive had a NME360 1.2 fitted which has now been removed (bad initial installation meant that when I opened the drive the wires all broke!).
1. can anyone point me to where I can find out how to put my drive key from my broken drive to the new drive, sure I have seen it just cannot find it now.
2. I am no great solderer so I was thinking of just flashing the new drive with iExtreme, the box is banned so I am not worried about LIVE etc. I just want to know that if I do that will I still be able to play all my old NME360 Backups? or do I have to try and get my NME soldered on by someone?
