Too Large Of A Name?

Whats up with the xbox not able to accept large names?????
I dont want to sift through the 432 roms And lower their names  <

there are utils that can do shorten the names for you, not sure what theyre called but im sure theyre on xbins

there is also a program called Fat-X renamer in the xbox-scene downloads that renames files for you.  <

if you are renaming roms (which i would assume since you are posting in the emulation section) the best way to mass rename them is by using Cowering's "Good" apps.

they'll rename your roms to xbox-compliant filenames, sort them, catagorise them into appropriate subfolders (if you tell it to) and generate lists for you of all the roms you have and all the ones you are missing.

it uses hashes on each of the roms to verify that they are good copys of the origonal, etc, etc...  it's a nice way to keep your collection neat and orderly.  <
