Odd Problem When Installing Nme V2 In New Benq?
« on: January 24, 2008, 10:43:00 AM »

I recently installed the NME v2 into my new 360 Elite, i have the new Falcon core. I only installed the points that where needed, 4 in the drive and 1 on the frontpanel and it worked very well. The day after, I decided to install the activity led function. When that was done, I tried to turn the 360 on pushing the front power button, nothing happened. Nothing happened when I pushed the eject button either.
But when I tried to power on the 360 via the controller it went fine and I could open the drive with my 360 remote.
I tried to resolder the activity led with no succes, I even removed both of the cables to the frontpanel and it was still the same. I bought a couple of days later a new frontpanel board and replace it, now it went fine turning the 360 on and off without any cables soldered to the board. I then soldered the only one needed to the board and it was still the same.

I can play the backups without problem, its just that the eject and power button doesnt work.
Any idea of what I can do? This is very irritating. Please help me.

I would say leave at alone as long as everything else is working fine.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
