Pretty easy !

Rip your game whit a kreon drive (or Download it)

Use Nme associator (convert Tab) select the iso then Patch

Make sure you have .dvd file whit your iso if not you can create one
easyly whit Xdvdmulleter (use xdvdmulleter to verify the integryty of the iso by the same time)

Burn whit CloneCD on VERBATIM DL at 2.4x !!!

Work every time i have over 30 game burned never scrap a CD (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To boot your NME v2 on Benq drive (what i have on my Elite Xbox) you need to
start the Xbox via the power power button, HOLD the button 1 second.

For original game Just use as usual...

I burn my game on a plain LG Burner Dual layer.

Hope that help !

I have been riping them on my kreon drive but the original NME tutorial said there is no need to pay any attention to the dvd file. i will try it that way. Which ripping program do you use i have tried both on nme's site and i get different file sizes... I also heard if it is if i use backup creator it makes the file size 7.29 and Nme associator will corrupt it.

And yes the boottype auto sets on all pioneer burners. i check after every burn using img burn under the read mode.

Look on the forum where you have posted this tread, i have posted a quick guide whit all you need !
let know if that work, make sure you use Verbatim DVD, (mine from singapore)

The important thing to do is the nme associator,
and for the .dvd its clone cd that use it to burn.

For the size all your iso should have 7.705 gb i think

I just finished installing my chip, and none of the backups I prepared with NMEassociator worked. However, every backup I did using Xbox360 SS merger 1.7b worked fine. Letsmod has a tutorial for it on the forums here or here is the link: http://vgcrepairs.co...e/nme maker.doc This works like a charm.

I am having troubles burning backups as well. I have tried hypy's and letsmod's guides and still get the "to play this game insert it into an xbox 360" screen. I have made around 25 coasters so far. I have the nme 1.2 modchip and use a Samsung 162d drive to rip the games and Pioneer 112d to burn them. Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen and used this before. i have 2 questions about that are unclear What program are you using to create the backup and what options. the second question is what file are you telling cd clone to burn and how are you changing your boot type.

I have found the best way to ensure your backups will work is to first create a perfect xtreme backup using xdvdmulleter to check and repair the iso, once you get all the ticks in xdvdmulleter confirming a good xtreme rip then use nme associator and click the convert tab, load iso and convert, if you have an iso and a .dvd file just double click the dvd file and burn, if you only have iso file burn with imgburn setting the correct layer break.
If you dont get the ticks in xdvdmulleter then dont burn as you will no dought end up with a coaster.
works everytime

I just installed my NME360 v2.0 this weekend and burnt 5 coaster before I figured out that your image CAN NOT have SplitVid.  I removed SplitVid from two ISO's that previously created coasters and voila!

Before figuring this out I couldn't understand what was wrong!  Weird thing is I didn't find any posts saying not to use SplitVid with the NME.

Can those of you having problems burning working backups with the NME give this a try and report your experience back here?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is how to remove SPLITVID from your ISO (found in a guide Written By: Xenthor)

You'll need Schtrom360Xtract v3.3

Use a Virtual Drive such as Daemon Tools to mount the XBOX360 ISO that you have ripped (which has the Splitvid).

Then use Schrom360Xtract, on DVD-ROM select your virtual drive where you have your ISO mounted.  Select in Task: "Whole Disc: Stealth Xtreme 3.0" and start ripping it.  The new ISO made will have the SplitVid removed!  You can verify this by running a Stealth Check with Schrom360Xtract under Tools -> Stealth Check.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: Don't forget to uncheck "build SplitVid ISO" if you're using XBC.
