What Modcip

wondering if there is a thread or something that list the majority of chips avaliable, cost and what they are capable of

im in sydney and previously had an xbox corethat could play backup games, which im guessing was not a due to a mod chip. what would you pay for that?

also what mod chip/wat price would you be looking at for something that plays backup games and preferably wont get banned from xbox live???

sorry if this has been covered as im sure it has, ive had a fair look through and cant really find anything that is understandable to a computer amatuer like myslef
any help would be much appreciated

There are two chips that are pretty similar. NME v2, and Globe360. Price is about the same ~$60 here in the US. If you want a modchip, thats the way to go.

However, my research didn't convince me that a mod chip was any safer from banning than a firmware mod, which is free to do. There are obviously far more reports of firmware mods getting banned than mod chip's being banned, but hardly anyone uses chips for a reason. You can do the same thing with software.

You should look into the firmware mod scene a bit, read the tutorials, then decide for yourself which route you want to take.
